Tue FEB 25 8pm
Continuing his exploration of music by Brahms juxtaposed with newly commissioned pieces, Ax is joined by superstar Ma for a duo recital that includes premieres by Anders Hillborg and Brett Dean, as well as Brahms’ two beloved Cello Sonatas.
Thu-Sat MAY 1-3 8pm
The amazing Ax not only plays the epic Brahms Second Piano Concerto, he also gives the world premiere of pianist/composer (and composer-in-residence for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra) Andrew Norman’s latest piece.
