In March 2014, Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic embark on their second tour of North America together, beginning in San Francisco on March 11 and ending in Boston on March 23.
The Los Angeles Philharmonic’s 2014 North American tour includes the LA Phil commissioned piece for orchestra, Blow bright by Daníel Bjarnason, which received its world premiere in Walt Disney Concert Hall in December 2013. That program also includes the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 with soloist Yuja Wang and Brahms Symphony No. 2. The companion tour program features Corigliano’s Symphony No. 1 alongside Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 5.
