Teaching Artist Faculty

The LA Phil's faculty of teaching artists is comprised of talented freelance professional musicians and educators who present and teach music in the LA Phil's partner schools and YOLA sites. Teaching artists audition to become a part of the faculty — they must be highly skilled musicians, have experience teaching, and have a passion to grow as teachers. Toward this end, all teaching artists are required to attend and participate in professional development workshops and peer exchanges each year.
