Cheyenne Jackson
Cheyenne Jackson is a multi-talented award winning stage, film, and television actor. He is currently appearing on Fox’s hit TV series “Glee” as Dustin Goolsby, the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, and has appeared for the last two seasons on NBC’s “30 Rock” as fresh-faced Canadian Danny Baker. He will soon be seen on HBO’s final season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Additional television credits include “Family Practice,” “Life on Mars,” “Lipstick Jungle,” “Ugly Betty”, "Law and Order" and “It Takes a Village.”
Jackson made his film debut in 2005 in the film CURIOSITY which was the hit of the Palm Springs International Short-Film Festival. He also appeared in the Paul Greengrass (BLOODY SUNDAY, THE BOURNE SUPREMACY) Academy Award nominated film UNITED 93. Other films include HYSTERIA and PHOTO OP. 2011 films include the indies SMILE, THE GREEN opposite Julia Ormond, and PRICE CHECK with Parker Posey.
Jackson’s big break came in the fall of 2004 when he starred in his first Broadway leading role in All Shook Up. His performance as “Chad” earned him the Theatre World Award, as well as nominations from the Drama League and Outer Critics Circle for Outstanding League Actor. No stranger to the stage, Jackson has also appeared in additional On and Off Broadway shows including Finian’s Rainbow (Drama Desk nomination), Damn Yankees (opposite Jane Krakowski and Sean Hayes), Xanadu (Drama League, Drama Desk nomination), The Agony & The Agony, Altar Boyz, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Cartells, On the 20th Century, and The 24 Hour Plays.
Jackson is an international ambassador for amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research). He also serves as the national ambassador for HMI (The Hetrick-Martin Institute). He recently released a debut CD titled "The Power of Two" with Michael Feinstein which is available now on Amazon and iTunes.
Jackson currently resides in New York City.
