ALEX RATUSHNYAK began organizing events for the Russian community in 1999 while a student at UC Irvine. The founder and president of the Russian Club, Alex promoted and worked as a DJ and before long rumors spread that Russian parties in Orange County were some of the best in America. In 2003, his production company (Russian Invasion) and events moved to Hollywood’s biggest night clubs with thousands of Russians dancing the night away. By 2007, Alex’s two production companies (Russian Invasion and Planet-R) joined forces with another team of promoters, Russian Party Grounds, and their events continue to be the most popular parties for both dancing and for Russians.
