Relyea’s most recent recording, Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with Simon Rattle and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, was released on the EMI label. He also recorded Idomeneo with Charles Mackerras and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for EMI, and appears on the Metropolitan Opera’s DVD presentations of Don Giovanni, I Puritani, and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (Deutsche Grammophon), and Macbeth (Metropolitan Opera HD Live Series).

In the 2009/10 season Relyea makes his debut at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in Berlioz’ Damnation of Faust, and returns to the Metropolitan Opera for Le nozze di Figaro. He also appears as Méphistophélès in Gounod’s Faust at San Francisco Opera. In concert, he makes appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Dresden Staatskapelle.
