The career of MAUREEN McGOVERN spans recordings, concerts, the Broadway stage, films, television, and radio, with a voice that defies categorization. To quote Mel Tormé, “Maureen McGovern is, quite simply the most glorious singer to come down the pike in several months of Sundays.” McGovern’s recording career began with the chart-topping gold record, “The Morning After.” She has recorded albums for CBS Records, RCA Victor, Sterling, and Telarc. She has received Gold Records in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines, a Grammy nomination, and she also won the Grand Prize award at the Tokyo Musical Festival. She last appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in 1992.
