MELISSA DYE recently appeared in Strike Up The Band as Joan, and Call Me Madam as Princess Maria for the REPRISE! series. She also appeared in The Chicago Ovation Series Strike Up The Band as Anne Draper, starring Bea Arthur. Ms. Dye appeared in the Toronto production of Phantom Of The Opera as Christine Daae with Paul Stanley, of Kiss fame, in the title role. She also appeared in the Broadway and Canadian National Tour Productions of Phantom. She traveled with the National Tour of Ragtime as Evelyn Nesbit and played Sandy in the Broadway production of GREASE! . On TV, Melissa played the sweet-girl-turned-psycho-killer on ABC Daytime’s The City and had recurring roles on Another World and AMC’s Remember WENN. Originally from DeKalb, IL., she spent several years in Chicago in such shows as Candide (Cunegonde) for which she received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination, Into The Woods (Little Red Riding Hood), Meet Me In St. Louis (Esther), and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? (Mary Kenny). She served as soloist with Grant Park Symphony and recently participated in a Kurt Weill benefit supporting Actors’ Fund of America. Melissa was most recently seen in an episode of the NBC hit drama ER.
