A graduate of UCLA, soprano RISA LARSON has quickly established herself as a singer in demand for her ability in a wide variety of musical and theatrical styles. Recent Southern California performances include leading roles in Rossini's Barber of Seville, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado and Pirates of Penzance, Handel's Messiah, and premieres of works by Maria Newman. She also appeared in Pajama Game, Kiss Me Kate, and Song of Songs. In June 2004, Larson toured as soloist in Italy with the Los Angeles Women's Chorus. Her versatile soprano voice has been commissioned for various recordings, including the theatrical trailer for 20th Century Fox's A Midsummer Night's Dream. This is her first appearance on the Green Umbrella series.
