Stephanie was born to direct. She wrote, directed, and choreographed her first play at age 9. It starred her sisters, her best friend Gail, and her English bulldog Samantha and her mom and dad were the audience. Now that she’s a grown-up, Steph feels applause isn’t what a performance is about; it’s about sharing an experience or making people feel or think. Wherever she directs a play she always remembers this. Stephanie directs at lots of theaters here in L.A., teaches at USC’s School of Theatre, and knows a lot about folk dance.
