VALARIE PETTIFORD (Hot Box Girl) started 2009 by guest starring as Sandra Harris on the hit CBS series Criminal Minds. She also continues her recurring role as Sandra Lucas on the comedy series House of Payne.

Valarie’s widely successful one-woman show was performed to sold-out audiences at such venues as the Metropolitan Room in New York City and most recently at Birdland, New York’s famous supper club.

Valarie’s Broadway and tour credits include Fosse, Chicago (opposite Chita Rivera), and Sophisticated Ladies. She also performed in Des McAnuff’s production of The Wiz. Her TV and film credits include The District, Frasier, The West Wing, One Life To Live, The Wiz, The Cotton Club, and Glitter.

Valarie continues to lend her support and talents to many charities annually, and is thrilled to have fulfilled a lifelong dream of recording an album, titled Hear My Soul and currently being sold at cdbaby.com.
