Reba McEntire, 2012 Hall of Fame inductee

Reba McEntire, the reigning Queen of Country, is the best-selling female country artist of all time. Reba's talents have taken her far beyond the world of music, into Broadway (Annie Get Your Gun) and television, most notably in her award-winning hit sitcom, Reba. She last appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in the 2007 production of the Broadway musical South Pacific. In special recognition of her accomplishments and extraordinary career, Reba will perform and be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame as part of Opening Night at the Bowl, hosted this year by the legendary actress Julie Andrews. Founded in 2000, the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame concerts celebrate those consummate creators and performers, who, through their talent and effort, have established themselves as true superstars and whose contributions to the arts have made them part of the fabric of American culture. Reba joins previous inductees Harry Connick Jr., Gloria Estefan, Donna Summer, The Carpenters, Josh Groban, Sir James Galway, Liza Minnelli, Placido Domingo, Brian Wilson, Sarah Chang, and many more. The annual Hall of Fame concerts benefit the LA Phil and its education programs. Additional 2012 inductees to be announced.

Black Eyed Peas rapper and DJ Apl.de.ap celebrates his Filipino heritage with a one-of-a-kind music and dance party, from pop and traditional Pinoy artists to hip hop, OPM (Original Pilipino Music) and beyond, for the Hollywood Bowl’s first-ever celebration dedicated to Filipino music and culture.

Martin Nievera, dubbed the "Concert King" of the Philippines, has been the unofficial ambassador of Philippine music to a worldwide audience for the past 25 years. The son of legendary Society of Seven original member Bert Nievera, Martin has performed to sold-out concert audiences from London to Dubai, Los Angeles to Toronto and Melbourne to Japan. His name is synonymous with Philippine pop ballads and contemporary music. He has graced many stages with his friends Patti Austin, Kenny Loggins and Brian McKnight; and Michael Buble invited Martin to join him on stage in Atlantic City. Martin was the first Filipino performer to headline a Las Vegas concert series at the Golden Nugget. He is currently one of the hosts of the popular TFC series ASAP and will again be seen in the upcoming Philippine version of X-Factor. He will be making his Carnegie Hall debut this coming October.
