The Westside Committee of the Los Angeles Philharmonic was established in 1949 and has been a vital force in the community since its inception.
The committee's purpose is to acquaint the community with the educational, artistic and civic value of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. It also supports all the activities of the Philharmonic and provides scholarships to young, talented local musicians.
As with any committee support group, there is a financial commitment which includes committee dues, an annual luncheon fee, purchase of one season ticket or a contribution to the Student/Braille Fund, a contribution to the Philharmonic Friends campaign and a purchase of one ticket to the annual Benefit.
