About This Performance
The L.A.-born multi-talented keyboard virtuoso Anthony Newman brings three of his own works along with organ classics and stirring Baroque fanfares.
Come for: Brilliant creative and technical virtuosity. While some other organists merely transcribe some of Stravinsky’s popular ballets, Newman creates his own pieces based on elements of some of Stravinsky’s loftiest music. He also matches his own Bach-inspired piece with its model.
