Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard has been replaced by Peter Serkin for this program. Mr. Aimard regrets that based on doctor's orders he must withdraw from these concerts due to back strain. As a result, the Janácek piece, Capriccio for Piano Left-Hand and Winds, has been replaced by Messiaen's Petites esquisses d’oiseaux (for solo piano).
