About This Performance

Much as the extraordinary El Niño was Adams’ take on a Nativity oratorio, The Gospel According to the Other Mary is his vision of a Passion. Built on Peter Sellars’ libretto (drawn from stories of Lazarus and Jesus, plus contemporary Latin American poetry), this major world premiere is not to be missed.
