Baroque Variations (BV1)
Our early music series is particularly rich this season with an installment of András Schiff’s Bach Keyboard Cycle, another multi-media event from Tafelmusik, Scottish Ensemble & Alison Balsom, and a complete performance of Handel's Jephtha.

Colburn Celebrity Series 1 (CE1)
The first Celebrity recital series features keyboard masters Hélène Grimaud, Yefim Bronfman, and András Schiff. The violin recital will be by none other than Itzhak Perlman.

Colburn Celebrity Series 2 (CE2)
CE2 begins with András Schiff in one of his Bach Keyboard Cycle recitals and continues with other major stars, including Renée Fleming with Susan Graham, Yuja Wang, and Hilary Hahn.

Chamber Music Society 1 (CH1)
Members of the Philharmonic present captivating chamber music with premier guest artists, this year including Lise de la Salle. A complimentary wine reception starts your evening.

Friday Evening 1 (FR1)
Two huge concerts with Dudamel highlight this great series, the first being a double bill of Mother Goose and Where the Wild Things Are, and the second a pairing of Dudamel with superstar Lang Lang.

Friday Evening 2 (FR2)
FR2 not only features such great conductors as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Pablo Heras-Casado, Charles Dutoit, and David Robertson, it also includes two important performances by Gustavo Dudamel.

Friday Evening 3 (FR3)
Friday 3 can be summed up in one word: color. From a rare complete performance of Falla’s La vida breve to a newly staged version of Adams’ passion-oratorio, this series is awash in color.

Casual Fridays 1 (FRC1)
Conductor Marin Alsop, pianists Lise de la Salle and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and Brahms with Dudamel and Shaham show off the star power of this series.

Casual Fridays 2 (FRC2)
From Haydn to Stravinsky, from Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos to Gustavo Dudamel, FRC2 features a magnificent range of music and musicians.

Friday Midday (FRM)
This Friday favorite features Dudamel conducting Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Mendelssohn, plus Zubin Mehta re-visiting his first performance as Music Director of the LA Phil, and much more.

Green Umbrella (GU1)
This season’s outstanding lineup of composers includes John Adams (who also conducts), Bjarnason, Muhly, Lutosławski, Stucky, Salonen, Eötvös, Chin (conducted by Dudamel), Samuel Adams, Marks, and Braxton.

Organ Recital Series (OR1)
Our celebrated organ series features three Americans: Janette Fishell, Nathan Laube, and Cameron Carpenter, and one Brit: Westminster Abbey’s James O’Donnell.

Saturday Evening 1 (SA1)
This magnificent series begins with Dudamel’s first Rite of Spring with the LA Phil and ends with a superstar concert joining him with Lang Lang for Tchaikovsky.

Saturday Evening 2 (SA2)
Besides Dudamel’s all-Beethoven concert and his Marriage of Figaro, this rich series includes Salonen conducting Bruckner, Tchaikovsky symphonies with both Alsop and Eschenbach, and Charles Dutoit leading Mozart and Strauss.

Saturday Evening 3 (SA3)
Gustavo Dudamel leads Where the Wild Things Are (with video) in October and Juanjo Mena leads Brahms’ Third in June, with many delightful and provocative programs in between.

Saturday Matinee (SAM)
This popular series features Midori playing a world premiere, Gustavo Dudamel leading La mer and The Firebird, Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Lionel Bringuier in an all-French program, and much more.

Sunday 1 (SU1)
SU1 boasts three programs with Gustavo, Salonen conducting Salonen, a world premiere with Midori, and such soloists as Lars Vogt, Lynn Harrell, David Fray, Gerald Finley, Gil Shaham, and Cameron Carpenter.

Sunday 2 (SU2)
Gustavo Dudamel begins his Beethoven cycle with Leif Ove Andsnes, leads the fully staged production of Adams’ passion-oratorio, and continues his Mozart/Da Ponte Trilogy with Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.

Sunday 3 (SU3)
Dudamel leads Mother Goose and Where the Wild Things Are to start this wonderful series. Later he conducts a program of Debussy and Stravinsky, and finally music by Nielsen and Tchaikovsky, for which he is joined by Lang Lang.

Thursday 1 (TH1)
This outstanding series, with its four Dudamel concerts, features him conducting music from Bach to Adams and joining such soloists as Gil Shaham (for Brahms) and Leif Ove Andsnes (for Beethoven).

Thursday 2 (TH2)
The only other series with four concerts led by Gustavo Dudamel, TH2 includes the Mother Goose/Where the Wild Things Are program, Emanuel Ax playing Mozart, Gustavo and Lang Lang, and, crowning it all, The Marriage of Figaro.

Songbook Series (SB1)
Legendary Broadway soprano Barbara Cook with the LA Phil, singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway delving into the Streisand songbook, and Max Raabe & Palast Orchester, who capture the glories of the ’20s and ’30s with debonair charm, all make up this year’s delectable Songbook series.
