Mahler: Symphony No. 9

In their debut CD together, Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic bring to life Mahler's beautiful and heartbreaking 9th symphony - his last completed work and one which he never heard performed.

The performance was recorded in LA's acoustically superb Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2012 as part of the Mahler Project - a massive undertaking in which all nine of Mahler's completed symphonies were performed twice, by two orchestras, on two continents, in a single month!
