Wildfire Recovery Efforts
LAST UPDATED: Wed, Feb 5, 2025
We are heartbroken by the devastation of the wildfires in Los Angeles, and at the same time, profoundly moved by the outpouring of generosity and selflessness among Angelenos.
Our immense gratitude goes out to all the firefighters and first responders who tirelessly fought these fires. The Sunset fire came perilously close to the Hollywood Bowl, but due to the firefighters’ quick and skilled response, we sustained no damage. This is one example of the incredible work of these heroes.
LA is nothing if not resilient. Just as an orchestra is stronger than its individual members, Los Angeles is most powerful when we are working together.
We are working with county and city officials and leaders to monitor this evolving situation, and we will continue to provide updates on this page.
We love you, LA!
How We're Supporting
As the response to this crisis continues, the LA Phil is working to assess immediate needs among our community and offer support through fundraising, collecting supplies and volunteering. We are also partnering with local organizations including the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and Social Justice Learning Institute to support their relief services.
Free Tickets for First Responders and Those Impacted
As a gesture of our appreciation and support, we are offering complimentary tickets to select performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall for first responders and impacted residents. Learn more.
Donating Proceeds
Now through March 31, 5% of ticket purchases for LA Phil concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall will go to support the Los Angeles County Parks Foundation as they rebuild parks, trails, and nature centers devastated by the fires.
