Beyond Walt Disney Concert Hall, every year the LA Phil also performs free Neighborhood Concerts in neighborhoods underrepresented in our audiences. Concerts often take place in the communities served by our YOLA at HOLA, LACHSA, and EXPO Center. Community Concerts are presented in partnership with the community host venue.
If you would like to host a concert in your neighborhood, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to propose a venue and explore opportunities to bring the LA Phil to your community.

Through this annual free performed by LA Phil musicians, the LA Phil celebrates Youth Orchestra LA’s advanced string players with much of the program featuring LA Phil and YOLA musicians performing side-by-side. Graduating senior Jerver Hernandez is showcased as bassoon soloist.
This year's concert is the culmination of a residency where LA Phil musicians led masterclasses and sectional coachings with students from three YOLA sites, with Juan Felipe Molano conducting a series of side-by-side rehearsals and the concert. The program will also include movements from Brahms' String Quintet No. 2 in G major, performed by the LA Phil musicians.
