Toyota Symphonies for Youth: A Journey Through Minimalism is an interactive concert experience for the whole family. Join the Los Angeles Philharmonic as we explore the patterns, layers, and rhythms of iconic minimalist music. Embark on a collaborative journey with the orchestra, make some music, and enjoy the ride!

Construction
8:00AM-6:00PM closure of Grand Avenue (Temple to 1st) for craning activities related to Plaza construction. One southbound lane will be created utilizing the middle divider lane. Access to the Music Center garage will be maintained. Northbound lanes will remain open.
8:00AM-6:00PM closure of Hope Street (Temple to 1st) for craning activities related to Plaza construction.
The construction team will reopen streets as early as possible once work is completed.

Protest March
Please be advised that the Women’s March 2019 will take place in Downtown L.A. from 8:30AM to 3PM on Saturday, January 19. Marchers will gather at Pershing Square for a program of opening speakers until 10am, then move towards Grand Park, where additional speeches and festivities will take place.

Marching is expected to impact Hill Street, Broadway, Spring Street, Olive Street and possibly Grand Avenue. Street closures will be on a rolling basis, but potential formal closures include:

  • Spring Street between 1st and Temple Streets
  • Hill Street and Broadway between 1st and Temple Streets
