About this Performance
Join the Grammy Award-winning Los Angeles Children’s Chorus as they celebrate their 40th anniversary with a special Sounds About Town program, “Looking Back, Looking Forward.” This vibrant concert, featuring more than 300 LACC choristers, takes audiences on a journey through four centuries of music, seamlessly weaving together timeless classics and modern works that have shaped the chorus’ history. Featuring beloved audience favorites from every decade of LACC’s existence, as well as new gems that point toward an exciting future, this performance is both a tribute to the past and a joyful celebration of what lies ahead. Highlights include music from Bach, Verdi, Rachmaninoff, Allister MacGillivray, Handel, and Schubert, as well as folk tunes from across the globe, and more.
