About this Performance
YOLA Institute celebrates YOLA Day, an annual event and concert that brings together hardworking young musicians from across the four Los Angeles YOLA sites: Camino Nuevo, Heart of Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Torres. The performances of the ensembles will showcase everything from the grand might of orchestral masterworks and exciting world premieres to the intimate camaraderie and soloistic focus of chamber groups. Additionally, this program marks the first public performances of the YOLA Institute Cultural Ensembles: Big Band, Mariachi, and Choir. These newly formed groups celebrate the richness of musical traditions that connect communities, generations, and cultures. Each of these ensembles reflects the spirit of creativity, identity, and artistic excellence that defines YOLA.
