Colburn Celebrity Series 2
The Calder Quartet opens this series of recitals, followed by a performance of Brahms’ piano trios by Yo-Yo Ma, Leonidas Kavakos and Emanuel Ax. Living legends Itzhak Perlman and Martha Argerich team up for an evening of music by Bach, Franck and more. The series closes with an ambitious evening of Schumann, Brahms, Mozart, Bach and Beethoven performed by L.A. favorite Sir András Schiff.
