20/21 Subscriber Notice
As a result of the fall cancellation, we have moved all 20/21 subscription packages into the 21/22 season. This will enable everyone to keep their seats when we return for a full season of music back at Walt Disney Concert Hall. We’ve compiled answers to some common questions to help alleviate any confusion.
Will the 21/22 programming be the same as the 20/21 programming?
While some of the guest artists who were scheduled to perform in the 20/21 season may join us for our 21/22 season, the programs will be different. We anticipate sharing the 21/22 season programming with you in March 2021, at which time you will have the opportunity to make changes to your subscription.
What is happening in Spring 2021 – the second half of the 20/21 season?
We don’t know yet. While these concerts have not yet been canceled, we know that everything from seating configurations to which artists are able to travel will be impacted by the pandemic. If the LA Phil is permitted to stage live events in early 2021, subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public.
Can I get an account credit or refund instead of the 21/22 subscription?
Yes, you can request to donate, receive an account credit or refund for your 20/21 subscription instead of having that subscription automatically moved to the 21/22 season. If you later decide to return for the 21/22 season, we will keep your original seats reserved on your account for renewal until the new deadline in Spring 2021.
If you are able, we hope you will keep your subscription with us to help mitigate the financial impact of COVID-19 on the LA Phil. By keeping your subscription in 21/22, you will retain your seats for what will be a full, historic season of music, while helping sustain the LA Phil until it is able to generate revenue through ticketed sales once more.
What about my “add-on” tickets?
You may donate, credit your account or request a refund for any tickets or concerts added to your subscription.
Can I talk to someone about my tickets?
Yes, we are here to answer any questions you may have and guide you through this process. Please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 323 850 2000 between 10am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Due to heavy phone volume and reduced staff, we encourage you to contact us by email to avoid experiencing longer than normal wait times.
How can I help?
Along with moving your subscription to 21/22, please consider making a donation to the LA Phil and Learning programs like YOLA, which have continued to serve children in under-resourced communities throughout this crisis. Between the concert cancellations at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl this year, the LA Phil has lost approximately $90M as a result of the pandemic. We need your support to help sustain our work during this period, as we continue to realize Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel’s vision of music for all.
Please select a donation amount.
Thank you for being a part of the LA Phil family.
Knowing that there is a community of music lovers waiting to come together again gives us something to look forward to – our first concert with you as a part of our audience is going to be one we will all remember and cherish.
In the meantime, we wish you good health and great music.
