About this Artist
César Macíme possesses a master’s degree in educational management, with a specialization in Teaching the Arts. He brings 25 years of experience across various dance disciplines, focusing particularly on folk dance and, more recently, contemporary dance. He serves as the instructor for technique, physical conditioning, and stage projection at Teocalli Folkloric Ballet of Zapopan, which is directed by José Francisco García, with Jorge Humberto Montes acting as the assistant director. Additionally, he is affiliated with Al Son de México, located in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco, under the direction of Elia Jiménez Rodríguez.
Since 2015, Mr. Macíme has been imparting knowledge in Folkloric and Contemporary Dance at the Universidad de Guadalajara (U. D. G.) as part of the Bachelor of Performing Arts for Dance Expression program. Furthermore, since 2019, he has been an active dancer with the Indian Odissi Classical Dance Company Danzas de la India Guadalajara, also situated in Guadalajara, Jalisco, under the direction of Juan Manuel Arriaga. In addition, he has been a member of the Instituto de Investigación y difusión de la Danza Mexicana A.C. (IDDMAC), Jalisco Delegation, since 2022.
