Luis Sanchez  is a choral conductor, composer, and educator with more than ten years of experience in music education, conducting, and performance. His professional background includes extensive work with choirs, ensembles, and students of all ages, distinguished by his versatility as a guitarist, singer, arranger, and music educator in both Mexico and the United States. He currently serves as a music theory teacher and choir conductor at YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), while also working as a choir and general music teacher with Education Through Music Los Angeles (ETM-LA). Throughout his career, he has contributed to community-focused music programs, leading choral and educational initiatives that inspire children and young musicians through artistic excellence and cultural connection. As a composer and arranger, his music has received international recognition, including the premiere of his orchestral work Insomnia by the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Lviv, Ukraine, and the premiere of his solo violin composition Advenus at the Richard Wagner Conservatory in Vienna, Austria. He has also conducted and arranged performances for special events at renowned venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and Walt Disney Concert Hall, collaborating with artists including Gustavo Dudamel and Natalia Lafourcade. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with a concentration in Music Composition and Classical Guitar from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua and completed a Film Scoring Certificate program at UCLA Extension. His artistic and educational work reflects a strong commitment to musical excellence, community engagement, and the promotion of choral and Latin American music traditions.
