He is a frequent artist at Seattle Opera, having performed there in several productions, including Boris Godonov, Eugene Onegin and Madama Butterfly. He has appeared with the San Francisco Opera (Meistersinger, Falstaff), Los Angeles Opera (Abduction from the Serraglio, and the world premiere of Tobias Picker's Fantastic Mr Fox); Hawaii Opera Theatre and San Diego Opera.
His European engagements include appearances with the Royal Opera Covent Garden, Paris Bastille (where he sang Pang and Pong in Francesca Zambello's production of Turandot), Opera Bordeaux, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Gran Teatro del Liceu Barcelona, Oper Frankfurt, New Israeli Opera, Wiener Operntheater, and Stadttheater Basel, as well as the Bregenzer and Salzburger Festspiele, and the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. Future engagements include Rigoletto, Manon Lescaut and Tales of Hoffmann in Seattle and Elektra in Amsterdam.
