JUDITH DOLAN (Costume Design) has worked with director Harold Prince on several productions including Candide for which she received a Tony award for Best Costume Design. Other collaborations with Mr. Prince include The Petrified Prince which earned her the Lucille Lortel Award and the award-winning musicals Parade and Lovemusik which garnered Drama Desk and Outer Critics nominations. Opera credits include The Magic Flute with the Cleveland Orchestra led by Christoph von Dohnányi, The Barber of Seville at New York City Opera, and Idomeneo at Wolf Trap. Her designs have also been seen in many theaters including Dublin’s Abbey Theatre, The Old Vic, The Brooklyn Academy, The Alley Theater, and the Houston Grand Opera. Recent work for the Los Angeles Philharmonic was seen in Yuval Sharon’s Night and Dreams: A Schubert and Beckett Recital. Judith Dolan holds an MFA and a PhD from Stanford University. She is currently a Distinguished Professor of Design and Directing in the Department of Theater and Dance at UC San Diego.
