About this Artist

Scott Oshima (they/them) is the Lead Community Organizer at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center and Project Manager for the Sustainable Little Tokyo creative placemaking initiative. They are an artist, arts organizer, and community activist and have worked in community arts nonprofits for over 10 years. As an administrator and artist, Scott utilizes art to re-center the voices of marginalized communities and advocate for the cultural sustainability of our communities of color. Scott is also a photographer.
