About this Artist
Zach Prewitt has been making noise since the early 90’s. The early days in NYC included stints as sound engineer at the Knitting Factory and Bill Laswell’s studio Orange Music, as well as promoting shows that featured his own bizarre musical concoctions Fireball and Sodaalien. After that began a long stint at UN radio, where his name and work were heard throughout the world. In 2018 he won an Emmy (after nominations in 2016 and 2017) for his work on the US Open TV broadcast. For the last few years he’s made his home at MoMA where he works on the audio visual exhibition install team. Throughout all of this, he tries to do as much live music work as possible. He is now in his 22nd year of doing shows with Saul Williams.
