About this Artist

Samuel Siskind’s (b. 2006) debut album, AWAKE, recorded by the Fourth Wall Ensemble, was released August 2024 to critical acclaim. His composition Out from the Deep, commissioned by the Golden Bridge Ensemble, was named a winner of the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award. His works have premiered at Carnegie Hall (2019 and 2024), toured throughout Asia, and televised from the DMZ by the Grammy Award-winning National Children’s Chorus. Choral Arts Initiative’s 2024/25 season will open with the world-premiere performance of his choral cycle Release. This past summer he was admitted to the inaugural Summer Composition Program at The Juilliard School. As a vocalist, he can be heard as a featured soloist on Illumine and has performed multiple principal roles with the National Youth Opera Academy.
