Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs is an interdisciplinary artist and composer working in voice-centered site-responsive performance, installation, and object-making.

She has exhibited work at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; Hammer Museum; CURRENT: LA Public Works Triennial; Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Broad; High Desert Test Sites, Joshua Tree; the DeYoung Museum, San Francisco; the Portland Art Museum; and the Anchorage Museum; and has been featured in Artforum.com, Frieze.com, X-TRA, and New York Times Magazine.

She lives and works in the High Desert of Southern California.
