Fuerza Regida

About this Artist

Fuerza Regida is one of the most influential groups in música mexicana, blending traditional corridos with modern hip-hop, latin and dance influences. Since their formation in 2015, the band—featuring frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP), José “Pelón” García, Moisés López, Khrystian Ramos, and Samuel Jáimez—has amassed over 13 million followers on social media, 35 million monthly Spotify listeners, and 26 billion streams across all platforms. With hit albums like Pa Que Hablen, Sigan Hablando, they have earned major accolades, including Billboard's Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year (Group), and are Billboard Music Awards undisputed Best Duo/Group and Latin Best Duo/Group for two consecutive years in a row, and the Billboard Latin Music Award for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year (Duo or Group). Notably, Fuerza Regida became the first group in years to have two albums simultaneously in the top 10 of Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart with Pa Que Hablen and Sigan Hablando.

Their breakthrough came with the 2018 hit "Radicamos en South Central," which has garnered over 150 million plays on Spotify. The band’s success continued with chart-topping albums like Pa Las Baby’s and Belikeada, as well as high-profile collaborations such as “Bebe Dame” with Grupo Frontera, which reached No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. With projects like Pero No Te Enamores, their experimental sound continues to push the boundaries of música mexicana. By 2024, Fuerza Regida achieved significant milestones, including placing three albums in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and holding the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart for seven consecutive weeks with their recent hit “Tu Boda” featuring Oscar Maydon. By the end of 2024, they had won multiple Billboard and Latin Billboard awards, including Best Group/Duo Worldwide and Latin Billboard’s Best Regional Album for Pa Las Baby’s and Belikeada. Recognized as “transgressors in the música mexicana space” by Billboard and “the hardest-working act in música mexicana” by the Los Angeles Times, Fuerza Regida continues to lead and innovate in the genre’s ever-growing global movement.
