REPLACEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE UPCOMING LA PHIL
WEIMAR REPUBLIC CONCERTS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

WHAT:
The LA Phil subscription concerts scheduled for Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 and led by LA Phil Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen, will be replaced by a program also led by Salonen, featuring pianist Igor Levit, the 2018 Gilmore Artist and Royal Philharmonic Society’s “Instrumentalist of the Year.” The previously scheduled program, which explores the musical decade of the Weimar Republic and features music by Kurt Weill and his Berlin contemporaries, has been postponed until the 2019/20 season.
The updated program, which includes an LA Phil commission by Donatoni, is as follows:
