Why Give?

Proceeds from this special fundraising event will:

Support the musicians, teachers, students, and staff of our orchestra

Champion our robust Learning initiatives reaching thousands of children and their families

Ensure our community remains alive with music, today and always

Led by Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, the LA Phil is an internationally renowned orchestra that seeks to harness the transformative power of live music to build community, foster intellectual and artistic growth, and nurture the creative spirit.

The LA Phil’s Learning programs provide unique, high quality opportunities for music and music making each year. YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) is Dudamel’s signature Learning initiative. The program currently serves more than 1,300 young musicians across four sites, providing them with free instruments, intensive music instruction, academic support, and leadership training. This includes the development of a brand new center, the Beckmen YOLA Center, located in Inglewood, CA which will offer free music instruction and to start making music with young people from Inglewood and the communities surrounding it.

What Inspires You?

We asked our friends and followers to tell us about a single piece of music that never fails to inspire them. Watch what they had to say!
