Kraftwerk is part of the LA Phil’s Minimalist Jukebox festival. Minimalism is the most important musical movement of the late 20th century and beyond — and the work of pioneers like Terry Riley and Philip Glass has influenced countless musicians across the contemporary spectrum, including Radiohead, The Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth, in addition to shaping the genre of electronic dance music itself.
