The Los Angeles Philharmonic: A Legacy in Sound
The Los Angeles Philharmonic presents an inspiring array of music through a commitment to foundational works and adventurous explorations. Recognized as one of the world’s outstanding orchestras, the Los Angeles Philharmonic leads globally with groundbreaking and diverse programming that reflects its artistry and vision both on stage and throughout the community. The 2026/27 season is the orchestra’s 108th.
More than 300 concerts are either performed or presented by the LA Phil at its three iconic venues: the Walt Disney Concert Hall (designed by Frank Gehry), The Ford, and the famed Hollywood Bowl.
The orchestra also undertakes tours, both domestically and internationally, including regular visits to New York, London (where the orchestra is the Barbican Centre’s International Orchestral Partner), Paris, and Tokyo. As part of its global Centennial activities, the orchestra visited Seoul, Tokyo, Mexico City, London, Boston, and New York.

On January 16, 2025, the Los Angeles Philharmonic had its first performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall since the heartbreaking wildfires that devastated the Pacific Palisades, Pasadena and Altadena communities.
