About This Performance
With one of the most beautiful flamenco voices of our time, Diego El Cigala (the nickname, given to him because he was so lanky, refers to a crayfish popular in Spain) has captivated audiences all over the world by seamlessly melding the rhythms and melodies of his Spanish gypsy heritage with styles ranging from bolero and son to tango and Afro-Caribbean jazz.
