For this extraordinary opening night, Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic will present The Philharmonic Dances, a dazzling display of sight and sound that celebrates the rich tradition of dance rhythms in orchestral music.

The program will include the pas de deux from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake danced by American Ballet Theatre stars Veronika Part and Roberto Bolle; world premiere choreography to John Adams’ The Chairman Dances by Barak Marshall featuring L.A.’s own BODYTRAFFIC dance company; and Three Dance Episodes from Leonard Bernstein’s On the Town, danced by a corps of Broadway’s finest dancers.

The program will include a pas de deux from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake danced by American Ballet Theatre stars Veronika Part and Roberto Bolle; world premiere choreography to John Adams’ The Chairman Dances by Barak Marshall featuring L.A.’s own BODYTRAFFIC dance company; and Three Dance Episodes from Leonard Bernstein’s On the Town ("Times Square: 1944" will be danced to new choreography by Josh Rhodes).
