About This Performance
The Canadian period instrument ensemble Tafelmusik astonished audiences here in 2010 with its multimedia Galileo Project. It returns with another theatrical multimedia event, taking us on a magical journey to five European homes where exquisite works by Bach, Handel, Purcell, Telemann, Vivaldi, and others were played against a backdrop of paintings by Vermeer, Canaletto, and Watteau.
Spectacular music and art in a powerfully imagined combination.
