These family friendly concerts make symphonic music come alive for children. This year features music from classical and jazz greats, an appearance from Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), and an exploration of our massive pipe organ.

The LA Phil’s pioneering Symphonies for Youth mix music with fun and fantasy for children ages 5-11. Walt Disney Concert Hall’s unique and majestic organ, aptly nicknamed the “French fries,” celebrates its 10th birthday. Come hear these 6,134 metal and wooden pipes in action!

Explore the connections between orchestral music and America’s music: jazz. This dynamic concert will feature YOLA students performing alongside Grammy-nominated pianist, John Beasley, and his big band, MONK'estra, made up of LA's finest jazz and studio musicians (including members of the Tonight Show Band, Dave Matthews Band, and more).

Kids will discover what it is about Maurice Ravel’s impeccable style – especially his use of dancing rhythms – that have kept us tuned into his magical works for nearly a hundred years.
