From family-friendly concerts to mentorship opportunities for emerging composers, these experiences invite children and teens to explore music in engaging and meaningful ways.
Whether attending a first orchestral performance, discovering the diverse artistic cultures of Los Angeles, or developing original compositions, students and young people can find opportunities to learn, create, and grow through music.
Our Symphonies for Youth concerts invite children ages 5 to 11 to soak up the sounds of a world-class orchestra while experiencing the thrill of live performance.

Designed for audiences ages 3–11, LA Soundscapes offers a joyful introduction to live performance in an interactive, welcoming setting at The Ford. These daytime family events celebrate the diverse cultures that shape the city’s creative landscape through performances and hands-on activities with local artists.
