The fellowship prepares early-career musicians committed to under-resourced communities to compete for, and win, positions in major orchestras.

As a FordLab producer I am grateful for every opportunity the FordLab has given me. When I began in 2018, I had no knowledge of the production/theater world. Thanks to the FordLab program, I’ve been given all the resources to empower myself. Now I see myself as a mentor for other producers.

Neighborhood Concerts

Beyond our own stages, the LA Phil also performs free annual Neighborhood Concerts for thousands of community members in neighborhoods across LA County and often within the communities under-resourced by our YOLA programs. Neighborhood Concerts are presented in partnership with the host venue, community organizations, and artists.
