Working with Our Neighbors
LA Phil works closely with the communities it serves and calls home, reflecting a collective belief that the arts are a public good and should be accessible to all. Through partnerships with local government, organizations, and neighborhood initiatives, we collaborate to address community concerns and organize mutually beneficial projects.
Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl works with neighbors in formal and informal ways, all in a commitment to collaboration. Through newsletters, an advisory committee, ticket programs, and other events, we work hard to serve our 5,000+ neighboring households immediately surrounding the Cahuenga Pass.
The Ford
Recognizing the resource that this arts venue is to the region, we are committed to working with immediate neighbors to provide access to the offerings of The Ford.

- 200,000+ Patrons per year use the Bowl's Park & Ride and Shuttle, helping to reduce congestion for our neighbors
- 4,000 Vouchers provided to neighbors for LA Phil performances
Community Advisory
In 2018, the LA Phil reinvigorated a Community Advisory group. The group comprises two representatives from the six surrounding neighborhood associations and the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council.
The meetings are held quarterly to provide The Ford and Hollywood Bowl updates and work together to address community concerns. Often representatives from County Supervisorial District 5, City District 4, the County Department of Parks & Recreation, and LADOT attend these meetings, which always include staff and representatives of The Ford, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association.

The LA Phil sends regular emails to keep neighbors informed about upcoming events, traffic impacts, and other community updates regarding The Ford and the Hollywood Bowl.
The LA Phil hosts a variety of community and neighbor-only events with local partners, often including ticket giveaways.
An essential part of our commitment to the surrounding community is gathering and responding to feedback about neighborhood happenings.
