About this Performance

The longtime reigning virtuoso of the violin makes another highly anticipated appearance in LA with his long-standing musical partner, leading an intimate multimedia experience of live music, personal anecdotes, and rarely seen home videos.

Hear the story behind 13-year-old Perlman’s appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show and how it changed his life overnight, find out why John Williams requested the violinist play the theme from Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List, and explore more highlights from his extraordinary career.

“Musicians should also be ‘magicians,’” Perlman says. “They will do something that you are not aware of, but all of a sudden, you’re saying, ‘That was a wonderful performance.’” While magicians should never reveal their special tricks and secrets, Perlman offers his audiences an exclusive, inside look at his most cherished moments as a performer, teacher, and music icon.
