About this Performance

Where do you begin? How do you become? What does it mean to be an Artist? Concert curator, Nadia Sirota, interviews some of today’s most sought-after composers to discover the music that moves them and discovers life lessons through the lens of composition.

About Symphonies for Schools

The Symphonies for Schools program invites students from throughout Los Angeles to experience interactive concerts that incorporate theatrical elements to contextualize the music. The in-person program includes free admission to a concert performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall for all students in grades 3-5 and music students in grades 6-12.
