Associate Concertmaster Bing Wang and LA Phil harpist Emmanuel Ceysson curate an evening of French music, highlighted by the dreamy atmosphere of Maurice Ravel’s Piano Trio. Ceysson’s harp leads the opening of the program with Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro—often described as a miniature harp concerto—and the Serenade by one of Ravel’s French contemporaries Albert Roussel, which offers showcase moments for each of its performers.
