FREDERIC FORREST (Beverly Hills Captain) was born and raised in Waxahachie, a farming community in the black land of central Texas. He has appeared in more than 70 movies and TV movies and mini-series. His film credits include When the Legends Die, directed and produced by Stuart Millar; The Conversation and Apo-calypse Now, directed by Francis Ford Coppola; The Rose, directed by Mark Rydell; Arthur Penn's Missouri Breaks; Wim Wender's Hammett, playing the title role; Jack Nicholson's Two Jakes; and Joel Shumacher's Falling Down. His TV credits include Peter Hunt's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, playing "Pap Finn," for PBS, and Parade starring Geraldine Page, as well as the Emmy Award-winning Lonesome Dove playing the infamous Blue Duck.

Forrest was honored in 1993 by Texas Christian University with a Distinguished Alumnus Award. He lives in Santa Monica with his cat, Fred C. Dobbs, from John Huston's Treasure of the Sierra Madre, his favorite movie.
