JAMES GADSON is a soulful drummer and session musician, and is highly regarded as an R&B legend. He has recorded and/or performed with some of the world’s best-selling music artists such as: The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, The Jackson Five, B.B. King, Anita Baker, James Brown, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, The Supremes, George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Isley Brothers, Quincy Jones, Little Richard, Peaches & Herb, Billy Preston, Smokey Robinson, The Spinners, Tina Turner, Martha Reeves, Randy Crawford, Albert King, Rose Royce, Elkie Brooks, and many more powerhouse names. James began his career in the late 1960s, and has since become one of the most-recorded drummers in the history of R&B music. James made a brief appearance in the Adam Sandler 2009 movie Funny People as a member of the jam band that Sandler’s character hires to play with him.
